Owner David Goldsmith always felt the car repair business needed a higher level of service. After teaching himself to fix cars in friends' garages, he went to technical school to get certified as an auto repair mechanic. While working as a mechanic during the day, David attended college at night and graduated with a B.S. He loved working on cars, however, and decided to return to the auto repair business.

David's dream was to open a shop that was different from the ones he had worked in. He wanted a shop that was clean, bright, friendly, well-ventilated and welcoming to all customers. We're proud of what we've achieved in the years since he first opened Urban Classics.
